Is thalassotherapy right for me?
There are generally no contraindications to relaxing.
There may occasionally be a contraindication for some treatments rather than for the cure itself.
After undergoing surgery, wait at least 3 to 4 weeks before taking a cure.
There are a few, rare therapeutic contraindications:
• Cardiovascular disease (poorly controlled high blood pressure, heart failure)
• Infectious diseases (ex: dermatitis), infected skin lesions (varicose ulcers, paronychia)
• Major psychiatric disorders
• Cancers, during the acute treatment phase
Thalassotherapy is the most natural of alternative medicines.
If you have any doubts, consult your doctor before booking a cure.
